Many boomers and seniors are learning computer skills for the first time. While it isn’t necessary to become an expert typist to benefit from the computer skills you learn, increasing your dexterity can make computer use more enjoyable!

Additionally, learning on any level is beneficial to maintaining brain agility. New research shows we do develop new neurons and links between neurons throughout our lives. Therefore, learning does our brain good!

TypingTest.com – This website offers a lot of different tests that can be taken in different either for 1 minute, 2 minutes or 3 minutes. They also let you choose the subject for your test.  When you have master the skills you can take a typing certificate and they also offer typing software for sale. They have demo versions so you can try before you buy.

PowerTyping.com - Free typing test, practice timed typing tests with Power Typing, a free online typing tutorial which teaches how to type on a computer keyboard. Free typing games, practice exercises, lessons and instructions how to type Qwerty or Dvorak.
