Multi Centre Itineraries: Get the most out of your holiday/vacation

3951 ‎مشاهدات

Multi Centre Itineraries are an excellent way to ensure you get to see the most of a country or region. If someone was going to visit your hometown, you’d surely tell them to visit other places in the region as well, otherwise they would naturally assume that the whole country is exactly like your town or city.

The same goes when overseas. Often we’re drawn to places which are more “touristy” or have more expats living there. These types of places can be a good first stop on your holiday, but if you really want to get the most out of your trip, you need to ensure that you get a little “off the beaten path”.

The good news? Many countries and tour companies are realising that visitors want to see more than one single destination, and are offering plenty of options when it comes to multi centre itineraries. If you’re looking for a good place to check out multi centre ideas/itineraries, try a quick Google search. Another option is to read some travel blogs to see where bloggers like to go, or pick up a travel magazine, which often have great multi centre destination ideas.

Why choose a multi centre itinerary? You’ll feel like you’ve seen much more of the country after you’ve been to more than one destination, as each place has it’s own mini-culture. Within one country you may find many different cultures, religions, ethnicities, architecture, and food, and by taking the time to see more, you become a much better traveller. This also ensures that you won’t be one of those people who has been to Paris and so has “done France” or visited New York and “didn’t like the United States”.

Because it’s so easy to get around different countries these days, there really is no excuse to just visit one destination. With a wealth of information online, it can often be a simple matter of doing some research to understand whether a bus or train is going to fit your schedule better, or whether the time saved flying will be worth it.

Travel agents and tour sites are also good places to figure out your multi centre itinerary, and there are plenty of tour companies which offer these itineraries as part of their tours. A tour can be an excellent option if you’re short on time, or don’t want to spend hours researching the best places to go. Because the tour companies are experienced, and the tours happen frequently, you can leave all of the planning up to them.

Tour companies can also let you know the best time of the year for each destination, and they’ll usually handle all of the travel in between destinations, so you don’t need to worry about getting from place to place.
