If you’re like most people, you’re probably way overdue for a holiday. I’m continually surprised by the number of people who choose to take the risk and not purchase travel insurance. Some people choose to “self-insure” meaning they’re prepared to pay for any hospital costs out of pocket. This is fine if you get a case of food poisoning in Thailand, but what happens if you get appendicitis and need emergency surgery in the United States? You could easily be out $100k.

Do some planning
Did you know that a large part of the enjoyment we get out of our holidays is due to the anticipation?
